We’ve so got this! Financially Strong Independent Women

In a world where one would think we had all gone a little crazy, and some of us did, there is an ever-increasing need to take control. To perhaps fix what has been broken. We may not yet have the answers to eliminate the pandemic, but we can control how we respond to the impact on us financially.

Women, by our own innate nature, are concerned with the world in which we live in. We are not saying that men aren’t; of course, they are. It’s just, well, women approach every day holistically, fundamentally making sure all the little hearts in our care are kept intact. What we mean is that a woman does a myriad of things throughout her day with that innate goal at her vision’s foresight. Making the world a better place for her family, friends, those in her inner circle.

For instance, a mother in a morning can produce a frog costume at the drop of a hat for her child’s Christmas Parade, organize a technician to fix her mother-in-law’s internet, plan several dinners, liaise with Sally next door to pick up the kids from school, dust off the dried milk and cereal from her business skirt (remnants from the breakfast disaster of her 2-year old that morning) and sail into a board room meeting without flinching by 9 am.

The consummate multi-tasker. Some are so good at it that they actually take care of people in a way that changes the world forever. Think Oprah, Arianna Huffington. These are entrepreneurial women. There is no better time than now to access the abundance of talent, opportunity, and resources and take control to be that Financially Strong Independent Woman.

Over the Christmas holiday break may well be a time to take stock, think of ways that you can impact the world for good, and in the process become the Financially Strong Independent woman that is needed more than ever in the world right now. You need to be. You’ve got a lot of work to do, taking care of a lot of people. Don’t forget you are first on that list. Taking care of yourself is not selfish; it means that you can help others.

So, while you are sitting on that sun chair with your feet in the sand, listening to the waves and pondering the world, take a thought for you and your next step. What will your next adventure be in 2021 to take control and make the world a better place?

Here are two reads to inspire you this summer
